Located five minutes from  Exit  22 on the A9 motorway (Roquemaure exit), in the center  of the medieval village of Saint- Laurent-des-Arbre, ECHANGEUR22 is close to several historic cities in Provence (Nîmes, Avignon, Montpellier, Arles, Marseille), which every summer host a wealth of cultural activities and festivals.   The residency is situated in a fully restored 16th-century silkworm nursery, and has been informally welcoming artists, musicians, actors and writers for the past 18 years.  The residency project thus formalises a tradition of artistic and cultural exchange within the building.
